Locally produced by Alan Westlake a former competition pistol shooter pre 1997 ban, comprises of a CZ BRNO K frame revolver not dissimilar to a Smith & Wesson with a custom made and fitted removable cylinder for muzzle loading purposes, making this a muzzle loading pistol without the need for long barrel or unsightly coat hanger on the rear.
Utilities .358 calibre bullets and can also use jacketed bullets with the load data for .38 special with suitable smokeless powders of which the data will be supplied with the pistol upon purchase. Topped off and ignited by a standard 209 shotgun primer, so basically a .38 special 6 shot revolver without the brass!
Extra cylinders for ease of reloading are available and need to be entered on your FAC as a separate entity, so authority to purchase would be a slot for a .38 muzzle loading pistol and each additional slot for a spare .38 cylinder.
This is the closest thing you will get to owning the real thing here in the UK for target shooting whilst being legal, not only are they awesome fun they are exceptionally accurate with the right loading.
