Chance to own a quite rare genuine JM Marlin which was only manufactured for a few years in limited numbers back in 2002 as a compact guide gun in a pistol calibre.
This model is the 1894P with the P denoting Ported barrel which massivley reduces felt recoil and muzzle flip, barrel lenght is 16.25" with 6 groove Ballard rifling and is chambered in either .44 spl or .44 magnum cartridges fed by a 9 round tubeular magazine.
Fitted with high vis front sight post and rear reciever mounted ghost ring.
Blueing and woodwork are in excellent condition with a straight stock and niceley checkered, the action is silky smooth and tight.
Very nice little compact rifle that is different and stands apart from other models.
